 What is Synthesia?

Synthesia is a game that can help you learn how to play the piano using falling notes. Watch the notes fall and follow along. Or, connect a piano and join in the fun. Synthesia reads MIDI files and generates the falling note (and sheet music) display from it. If you have a piano connected to your computer (via USB, MIDI cables, or an adapter) then Synthesia reads from it and scores your playing.

[ Graphic Card ] AMD R9-290X Leaked Crossfire Performance

According to AMD this new approach will eliminate much of the frame pacing issues that have been harshly criticized in initial benchmarks. Due to these results AMD decided to eliminate the need for a crossfire bridge, since the PCI-E interface has enough bandwidth for multi-GPU communication, and it seems from first impressions that the chip giant has absolutely nailed the scaling...

Data and Analysis

The scaling is certainly impressive, we can clearly see that the scaling does not dip under 80% and can deliver up to double the performance on Far Cry 3. If this is the true scaling and performance we can expect this to be an industry standard in the future.

We can observe that all the titles are being run on the extremely high 3840 x 2160 resolution of 4K HD. A single R9-290X can indeed stumble on such a monstrous resolution, specifically on Hitman Absolution and Max Payne 3, although they are using a huge amount of anti-aliasing. Despite this the crossfire configuration's near perfect scaling seems to take away any doubt of performance hiccups, it plays all games in a playable manner with the exception of Hitman Absolution. Ladies and gentleman it seems as if 4K gaming may actually be upon us.

So what can we gather from all of this leaked data? Well, assuming it's true, we can safely assume that the R9-290X crossfire setup was solely intended for 4K HD gaming, unless you have a 120-240Hz 1920x1080p monitor this horsepower is going to waste.

We can also assume that NVidia will adopt the cunning bridgeless multi-GPU connection, considering the plausible scaling.

Radeon HD 7950 is a high-end GPU based on the 28nm GCN architecture.
It's based on the Tahiti Pro Core and therefore offers 1792 Shader Processing Units, 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs on a 256-bit interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit is clocked at 800MHz while the memory clock operates at 1375MHZ.
Compared to Radeon HD 7970, its performance is much lower and behind NVIDIA's high-end GeForce GTX 660 Ti, despite being a direct competitor to GeForce GTX 670.
Radeon HD 7950 was later modified via a BIOS update and released as Radeon HD 7950 Boost Edition.
This GPU needs to be paired with a considerably strong CPU such as 3570K or any other CPU that offers similar performance. Upgrading this GPU to anything lower than a dual-graphics solution (such as GeForce GTX 690) is useless and not really worth it. Crossfiring it might be a good option, as well.

The Sims 4 is an upcoming life simulation game. It will be the fourth installment in The Sims series. Electronic Arts announced the game on May 6, 2013,[2] and is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows and OS X in Fall 2014.

The Sims 4 has the same concept as its predecessor, The Sims 3, players control their Sims in various activities and form relationships in a manner similar to real life. The game, like the rest of the series, does not have a defined final goal; gameplay is open-ended.
